šš Just tried it with an image and it made the text really tiny š Have you used the imgflip site for making memes? Itās a good example of what features would be useful for still memes especially, such as the ability to place text where you want it, add additional text fields, and change font color/size.
Yeah, I noticed it doesnāt scale with the resolution of the image, Iāll fix that
Someone else mentioned imgflip so Iāll look at that, but thereās two things Iām struggling with:
1. Donāt want to clone something that already exists (because Iām not adding any value)
2. Trying to limit the clicks, taps and complexity as adding more buttons might discourage amateur memers
With that said, I might consider an āadvancedā drop down with some of those options

Probably the only things I donāt like about imglfip is they want you to pay for a pro subscription ($10/month) to remove their watermark š¤£ and of course it has no connection to nostr. As far as features, though, itās pretty damn good. That said, I mostly use dedicated editing apps on my phone and computer so I can do better layering, editing. But for a quick and easy meme or gif, imgflip is great.
