Correct we need to go back to the essence of commerce: « taste my cheese before you buy » used to be advertising way back when. Users were in control of their discovery : choosing which stall to stop at, what to taste (explore).

Brands will have to do the same in a peer to peer economy. Their ad dollars should be 10x more efficient instead of fighting a keyword race condition controlled by a third party like Google. Direct relationships will change everything
