What desktop clients are everyone using these days?

snort and primal on the web. lume is too new and i don't like the UI on gossip.
For some reason primal and snort never worked fine on my desktop. Never knew why🤷♂️
I'm gonna load up primal tomorrow. I use iris but don't love it. Amethyst is better on android.
Are you running node.JS locally to run the primal web app? This is not something I feel like doing to run primal.
i cannot figure out how to sign in on the website for primal. weird.
For future users you have to get an extension that recognizes nostr requests much like wallet requests in opensea and stuff. I used the Getalby extension associated my nostr keys and now primal requests to view my public key and associates my nostr account with the primal client. Would have been nice to have this in their help page. The other web clients have a enter pub key button.
glad you figured it out. yes, you have to use a signing extension like alby or nos2x. you should never enter you nsec directly into a website. 😉 cheers.
