Dehumanizing a group over the actions of one is so closed-minded. Everybody knows that. I wish people in loud positions had the foresight to weigh the their words, but I suppose there's some personality characteristics that almost always align.

Who are we talking bout?

No one specific, just generally anyone in a position of influence who's feeding the hate machine. There's an awful lot of vitriol being spewed towards people who did nothing to warrant it.

Incorrect generalizing mental patterns evolved from the need to simplify the world, allowing you to safely assume that all lions are dangerous. This is also the root of all irrational hate and the destruction it brings. That's why valuing individuals over groups is such a powerful idea for a better world. It's not about being selfish; it's about having an antidote to collective hate and avoiding the trap.
