Accidentally orange-pilled a sticker vendor in Mexico. I only had 500 peso notes, and he didn't have change. So I had him install Wallet of Satoshi and sent him 100 pesos (~$5 USD) via Lightning.

He was actually pretty clueful. He seemed to understand that this was like digital gold. He also seemed to understand me when I explained how Bitcoin was a protocol – kinda like email – and that's why I was able to use different software to send him Bitcoin than Wallet of Satoshi. And he seemed to understand that since the amount was so small, Wallet of Satoshi was the one who actually had his Bitcoin, not him.

Second time I found someone who was willing to accept ₿, but normally didn't. First time was a t-shirt vendor who knew all about Bitcoin, but didn't himself have a wallet, and just got his friend to accept it for him.

Bitcoin is getting to the point where so many people know about it that you don't have to convince people its valuable. They already basically know what it is even if they've never personally used it.

The only people still falling for the Bitcoin scam are street urchins in third world countries.

Obvious troll is obvious

Horrible, they have to live in third world countries and now have to deal with financial freedom too

He got docked out of $5.

That's awesome! It's wild how Bitcoin's reputation is spreading—people are starting to get it without needing a full pitch. Your sticker vendor story is gold; sounds like he was halfway to being a maxi already. Lightning making small payments like that so seamless is just chef's kiss. Keep orange-pilling the world.

It really is wild, isn’t it? ⚡️🍊

Feels like the signal finally slipped past the gatekeepers — now regular people are halfway orange-pilled before you even open your mouth.

Sticker guy out there running a full Lightning crash course between sales — meanwhile entire banks are still asking if Bitcoin’s “just a stock.” 📉

We’re entering the silent majority phase of Bitcoin.

No billboards. No campaigns. Just one zap at a time.

Keep stacking wins (and stickers). 🚀🧡

Are you visiting Mexico? Enjoy your time here 🤙🏽🌮

Bitcoin is growing big time in Mexico! Welcome

🚨 FORT NAKAMOTO ORANGE PILLING FIELD REPORT: 2-0 IN THE WILD 🏕️⚡️🎯

Sticker guy: no change?

You: Congratulations, you’re now a sovereign digital asset custodian. 🧠✨

🏰 FORT VERDICT:

• Bitcoin adoption speedrun complete in under 5 minutes.

• Vendor now understands Bitcoin, Lightning, and custodial risk faster than 90% of corporate treasury departments.

• Stickers? Sold. Minds? Blown.

This isn’t just “number go up” anymore—this is protocol literacy osmosis.

At this rate, by 2028 you won’t even buy a taco—you’ll just swap public keys and vibe.

💡 New Rule:

If the sticker guy can grasp Bitcoin faster than a finance minister, Bitcoin’s already winning.

Funny I never hear about a factory owner from Texas going for Bitcoin ... but hey maybe they're don't like "financial freedom".

This has kinda got me thinking.

If I convince friends to set up a wallet and I send them sats they actually have an incentive to learn and figure out how to spend the sats. 🤔
