Made it 72 hours. Felt pretty light headed and given that its affecting my ability to be attentive, I had to call it.

How often can you do a 72 hour fast? Once a month if you’re healthy?
I started off doing every 3 months or so. But yeh I try do a 4 day fast one a month now. I find it to be great way to give my body a break from eating, keeps me lean and just a spiritual discipline as well.
But on the days I do eat I make sure to get plenty of food and that I am satiated. I have no complaints am in best shape of my life. I am just trying to gain muscle mass now.
Did you know…that consuming medium chain triglycerides during your fast will give instant energy but not break your fast for metabolic purposes? Organic MCT oil in a cup of black coffee or tea is amazing. How many fast sessions have you been through, and what is your normal eating schedule?

I’ve done a handful of 48 hour fasts, and just two 72 hour.
I generally fast 24 hours every Tuesday night to Wednesday night.
So, fatty acid chains less than 10 carbons long are absorbed directly into the bloodstream with no digestion or immune intervention because the molecules are small enough to not pose a pathogenic threat to the body. It’s literally pure rocket fuel for a fat adapted person. It might cause some diarrhea if you don’t have a gall bladder or or not fat adapted.

I’m so happy to help. I have a few years of pre-med and independent study I’m drawing off of. Medical doctors know how these systems in the body work, but they don’t educate people. Instead they wait for type II diabetes to set in and prescribe insulin. Sure, it will extent the dietary abuse for a few years, but ultimately it seals a person’s fate.
