Rather than "moment of permission" it could be a "moment of recognition" that could happen at any age; the keypoint being, precisely, the awaraness of a difference of habits, in this case, inside and outside relays. My two sats would be going on try offer orientation about these distinctions and the attitude that best fit for both places...
I kinda see your point. But an age to choose, for a child or adult to be, to use nostr would make it easier.
Would provide a simple, sovereign family group chat (no Telegram, Signal, Apple or Google required). Add a basic password to it so it's not publicly visible
