Depends on how many kitchen appliances you’re willing to tolerate. They do an excellent job at very specific cooking tasks. Reheating friend leftovers is my favorite application.

Oooh, I haven't thought of this. Can it sear fast enough to avoid cooking the inside? Thinking of doing a reverse sear + sous vide steak in the air fryer instead of the broiler.
I was so damn skeptical of these things, but my gf's work gave us one for free and I'm in love with it.
You can do a lot of things that you'd normally spending a bunch of time/energy/gas on heating up your oven.
It also makes simple meals brain-dead simple (I love heating some chicken wings up and just tossing them in buffalo sauce as an ez lunch)
