There is real value but labor should not be the source of it. If a man owns my labor then I am not sovereign. If i sign up for a loan with my labor as collateral then I have enslaved my future self for some arbitrary period of time. Value should come from productive assets. The land provides calories, shelter and space for social interaction. That is value. The problem is that because the productive assets are controlled by a very few, everyone else is forced to enslave their future selves for access to even consumeable assets. That is the immorality in my eyes.

I think it is immoral that someone taught you that it was ok to trade labor for a living. It is not. You should be free. But it means you gotta stop believing and start verifying.
