passkeys have never worked for me, reading this it now makes sense. What a ux disaster.
They work for me using bitwarden with self hosted instance but just on desktop.
Haven't tried using it with separate hardware devices. All the UX concerns are more than valid.
Shame... I hate username+password scheme
Safari and chrome passkey on client things do actually suck after a short period of time… I put it down to ‘monkey to keyboard’ interface but maybe not.

offtopic: what the hell is that trash domain name? Has so many subdomains it looks like a cheap phishing attempt. Author should invest in a better domain
