No it doesn't. YOU are doing it at that point. Nostr isn't involved with the decision to use VPNs, etc.

I'm just surprised at how many new users think Nostr makes you anonymous, when it's completely opposite. It makes you very public and exposed (unless you take your own measures).

Yeah. I learned that just by reading the basics when I joined. And asking awkward questions. Like I do now.

Nostr makes everyone anonymous, not private. Be careful what you share if you want to remain anonymous, also a VPN doesn't hurt to have.
