being a mom is just cleaning constantly
Discussion
You’re never done with laundry. Ever. 😭
dude the high water bill was one of the most unexpected expenses.
between laundry and bath time it has tripled.
😭🫂 I still dont have a solution for the laundry and our kids are 4 and 8. It just never ends 🤣 A baby bath tub can help reduce water at bath time, if you don’t already use one.
the giant baby man doesn’t stay contained lmao
look forward to eventually having a well
That would be awesome 💜
we stopped with the baby bathtub pretty early on. once taro had good neck strength and we felt comfortable handling him, we brought him into the shower. dad would soap him up and hose him down in his lap. I'd be around with a towel to take him and dry him off.
now that taro sits well independently, I sit with him on the floor of the tub and I wash him while he plays around with his bath toys.
Being a dad to a newborn is me constantly trying to clean or do anything and baby is like nope. Or throwing baby at my breastfeeding wife every 30 min bc THATS THE ONLY THING THAT WORKS 😂
looking back the newborn phase is much easier 😂🥲
My friends tell me that…
That's what I say to anyone with a newborn.
You think it's difficult now, wait until he starts crawling/walking. 🤣🤣🤣
The second kid you enjoy much more the newborn phase.
yeappp I miss the days when taro would stay in the same place that I set him down haha. those days were easier. the days felt long when we were in the thick of it though.
It stays like that PLUS you have to tidy up and clean the apartment way more often when they get older. Tip: Immediately indoctrinate them with a strict form of household-communism, WE clean up OUR toys, everyone helps according to their abilities and so forth...
Shhhh, nobody mention teenagers.
Oh, he’ll be helping by then! I may not be as strict as my parents but there will be house rules

My baby doesn’t let me sit down & forces me to clean. He even likes me to vacuum
And making snacks and looking for lost socks and toys.
Yes….
Being a dad is too!
LOL
Parent life = chores
