Me, a potential paying user, when a dev who needs paying users demonstrates how little they actually want to earn paying users’ money 😂

nostr:npub1yx6pjypd4r7qh2gysjhvjd9l2km6hnm4amdnjyjw3467fy05rf0qfp7kza , I’m not a paying user 😂, but I will never forget the talking stick
You're really not impressed with this lack of gif button thing are you😜.
I’m not impressed with devs with their heads up their asses who don’t like to listen to user feedback
lol who dis?
That's one of the reasons I love nostr:nprofile1qqsdxm5qs0a8kdk6aejxew9nlx074g7cnedrjeggws0sq03p4s9khmqpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcpzemhxue69uhksctkv4hzucmpd3mxztnyv4mz747p6g5 Values his users 🫡🫂🥰
It’s understandable, but also helpful to keep in mind not all feedback can be implemented (not enough demand, lack of resources, other vision and priorities). The customer is always right unless they are the wrong customer.
If someone wants paying customers then they might want to act like they’re running a business that likes customers. I see a handful of devs on here that are good at that. Many aren’t, and instead have their heads up their asses jumping from one half finished project to the next. They would benefit from partnering with someone who is good at helping them bring their vision to market.
Maybe they don’t have a vision 😆
I see some projects that have zero demand but are fun and sometimes necessary but super hard to monetize. For example, lists, signers, audio rooms, polls, etc.
Many of these are fun and necessary to have and most came from a passion side project that has little potential for monetization of any.
We’re still at a stage where devs are exploring. Many are not entrepreneurs and don’t even want to be.
I agree though, listening to feedback is important, especially if you want paying customers. It’s just hard to judge the situation if you don’t have the full picture - which I don’t.
Really the divide between Programmers, and Average people.
Programmers program for Programmers, luckily there are teams that translate UI to normal people effectively.
I agree with the sentiment.
