How do you cope? It’s like when Andreas found BTC he spent months learning..
It's hard. Best way I've found so far is dedicating early morning time to these things and attempting to not let them spill into the rest of the day.
If I can "scratch the itch" first thing in the morning, it sort of satisfies the urge to learn the new thing a bit so it's kept at bay later.
And then podcast during driving/chores etc is another nice hack to satisfy the desire without sacrificing other priorities
