Slow progress is still progress ๐Ÿข #softwar

Still, it has and will continue to weigh on me every day until I finish the reading. At least I have a proper table now and not just my dresser.

Is this book enjoyable?

Yes, and you can listen to what I have recorded already on any podcasting app or on fountain. It can be highly repetitive and technical at times, it's a master's thesis after all.

Thank you for your service ๐Ÿซก

The audacity.

This recording is brought to you by FOSS ๐Ÿ˜‚

Have you found any 3rd-party plugins you like for pop removal, etc? Iโ€™m still looking. The built-in โ€œfixโ€ plugin doesnโ€™t seem great.

The pop filter does a good job. I think getting a good recording in the first place is key, so physically mitigating pops is best.

In post, all I do is normalize the volume, then manually silence breaths and shorten long pauses with a few macros.

This dynamic compressor plugin does wonders for volume, but won't do much for pops and such. https://github.com/theDanielJLewis/dynamic-compressor-for-audacity

I need to read it soon

You can start listening to it at least

Will do. Thank you ๐ŸŽง

I put this read on hold for the moment. Thank you for your service. One day I'll resume the listening.

Maybe pick it up again when it's done ๐Ÿ˜†

You really do have the same inflection that Jason has... sometimes I wonder

His voice comes out in the way he writes haha. I'm just channeling it.
