Tearing out this rotten improperly built old deck for my sister and replacing it makes me really miss new construction. Already put a screw through my boot.

Haha it’ll just be a simple deck. I tried to talk her into decking (pun intended) it out but she just wants what was rotten replaced. Will look better for sure but nothing fancy.
