Would you rather have your soldiers spending hours learning to march in unison, or learning to fight and use advanced weaponery?

You can't have both? Do you have to choose? If not, don't demonstrate in this case. I don't know 🤷‍♂️

I don’t know either. What I have learned, is that I would never bet against the US.

As every empire comes to an end, the question of the end of the empire arises, doesn't it?

I'm not saying the USA is finished, but like Great Britain before it, the Mongols, etc., every empire has come to an end.

Maybe, or maybe not. I don’t pay much attention to the prognostications of the internet class.

People have been predicting the end for as long as we could speak to each other and weave a story.

I can only prepare myself in the best way I can, so that I have the means and ability to adapt to any and all circumstances.

My friends in the military train for war, not parades.

I don't think we ever did the big military parades.

Iran has pretty good military parades.

Congrats to China, which has perfected the nonsense that barely worked in the last century and absolutely doesn’t work in this century, ridiculing itself in the process. Taiwan might be safe.

I have to admit it was a pretty pathetic parade. It was only rememberence of past wars fought. The history lesson is important, today's generations need to understand war is the last option and only one for ultimate survival.

The problem is what survives today isn't the people, only the beast that is government. The people serve the government. The government's immigration policy serves the government. The money machine serves the government's power abroad. The military serves the industry and the banking system that support it.

It was not a show of force, it was a parade of imperial bureaucracy.
