It’s my one year skate-a-versary!! 🎉

I did a 9 km celebratory skate and coincidentally it was my 9th time skating with hockey skates.

Why is this such a big deal to me? Years ago I sustained 2 broken legs and a fractured pelvis on both sides among other injuries. I never thought I would be able to skate again but one year ago today I had help to get me back on the ice. I’ll forever be grateful. Fast forward to today, I was able to venture out skating solo totally on my own to enjoy the sunshine and skate continuously with speed without falling or stopping. What a glorious feeling it is!!

Challenge yourself to do the things you never thought you would be able to! 😊

Although going to school with many people from Long Island/NYC, Buffalonians always identified more with Ontario than the city imo. More self proclaimed mid-westerners.
