I am old enough to have advocated for flash to die in favor of js. If only I'd have known.
I planned to insert a joke here about using Actionscript on the server but thought I should google first.. Oh gosh. What have we done?
Why can't we have have nice things like scripting languages or template formats without people trying to write applications in them?
Is it time to vibe code a css based server-side application language or am I going to be horrified by something that already exists?
Well I am trying to build a platform for easily making Nostr DVMs, bots and the like.
And JS is the most vibe-coder friendly language while having fast startup times and not being hard to learn, plus having a lot of tooling around it.
Also, WebAssembly
i hate js so much but we can't escape it
