The bigger the phone gets the harder it is to reach bottom controls that are further from your thumb. Maybe it makes more sense to put icons closer to each other in the middle - as a floating island.
you know you can shift the keyboard left and right by holding the fn/world button in bottom left ?

doesn’t fully solve device size issues, but is a good feature for large hand held devices. Also highlights how the use of the devices is outgrowing the hardware limitations to some extent
