The bigger the phone gets the harder it is to reach bottom controls that are further from your thumb. Maybe it makes more sense to put icons closer to each other in the middle - as a floating island.

Put everything that you need towards the bottom. That's what I do works best from my testing. Most people hold their phones from the bottom.
you know you can shift the keyboard left and right by holding the fn/world button in bottom left ?
