My first love is making physical things. I had a summer job once very much related to today's word.
One of my biggest regrets moving 500 miles to get married is leaving my milling machine with a friend. I've got no room for it and it weighs 900lbs.
Seems movable enough, but yeah, guess 11 kids (I've lost track) and a wife limits space for milling a bit 🥲
Very cool. I used a mill and a couple other things for some college project once. Dug it, but that was the last I saw of any such things.
I like to consider woodwork of some sort as a possible retirement hobby, though I think it's just a romantic notion mostly and not something I'll actually do. Maybe though...
I love woodworking! I built our whole office from raw lumber and glue. I got into it building pipe organs with my uncle.
By the way my resume from 15-25 is ridiculous. Nothing too far out, but very broad spectrum. Mostly related to making things though.

I love going to pipe organ concerts. A local college has an amazing organ and they put on a heck of a show with it.

Never played Warhammer - I figured you made that thing from scratch! Gotta admit there’s a good amount of folks that whip things up out of the blue - for instance, custom hardwood BitAxe holders.
