I know four early-thirties women in the U.S. who are doing well for themselves financially.
They are all childless, single or in dysfunctional relationships and 3 of the 4 are on antidepressants (miserable). All four are liberals.
Everything past first wave feminism was a psyop and scam to create moar taxpayers and destabilized the nuclear family.
Meanwhile the majority of men these days will overlook a single woman wanting to be a stay at home mom because they would rather a woman financially contribute instead of raise their family and tend to the home. 🤦🏼♀️
I think it’s more of a necessity for many. A man now has a very hard time being an adequate provider. I’d guess 8 out of 10 men do not earn enough to support a spouse and one child.
Sadly with the price of things that is likely true. Although these same men believe in putting their future children in daycare to be raised by someone else all day essentially missing the big moments and giving the child the essentials that should be provided by the parents. Most times paying for day care is almost par with a woman’s wage more or less.

The problem here is more complex. Most men can’t afford to support a stay at home mom. The invention of birth control is what made sex cheap and accessible to single men. This accessibility drives down the need to get married. On the other hand, women do want fulfillment in various aspects of life. Most women want to achieve and feel a sense of fulfillment in themselves and not just their children. But they also want children. So it makes sense to delay childbearing. The problem is that men who CAN afford to support a stay at home mom and are also attractive want younger women. It’s a lose lose situation for everyone.
Very much so. Meanwhile those younger woman aren’t ready to settle down or want to travel or do more before devoting their time to their children. There’s often times a huge disconnect with age gap couples leading to needs not being fulfilled, being misunderstood and not vibing.
I think the best tradeoff, which isn’t a great sell, is for young women to get married and have kids then study while raising the kids. It’s possible but difficult which makes it a tough sell. But it allows her to get the best option in a partner while also letting her have children and find some fulfillment.
Young women often don’t know what they want and don’t want to commit until they are older. Raising babies and young children is a full time job with no time to devote to studying. Without being able to explore first, she may become resentful or have a tough time transitioning to parenthood. Often times an age gap relationship is very short lived for various reasons.
I think women have a good idea of what they want. They’re better than men in that regard. They just mistakenly think they can get everything they want when they’re older. They don’t have the luxury of time that men do. Aging men are not punished as harshly as aging women in the dating world. I would say that it is possible to raise children and study though. Single mothers find a way to do it 🤷♂️
It also comes down to the quality of life for all parties involved.. how a child grows up with a stay at home mom vs a working mom or single mom.
Is it better quality of life than being raised by an unhappy mother who settled for someone?
Could be.. every situation is different but certainly no one should settle leading to unhappiness and try to raise kids in a toxic environment. That should be avoided at all costs.
