Most of my Bitcoiner friends have a psychological block with nostr. They just don't see an interest drop it and move to other things.
This really strange to witness. We can fill that this thing could be the start of new kind of web but...
It’s strange I’m not seeing much about it on Nostr. The situation affects anyone holding sats imo.
Can't stop you from posting here, less likely to get the support they're trying to engender and the blind "trust me you're not qualified" won't stand here.

This is one of my FUDs… I would say I’m a hobbyist. I listen to podcasts, got a start9 running Bitcoin core (maybe going to knots), a couple home miners- but I’ve got a full time fiat job and will never be in the code enough to know if I should just take an update or switch to something else. For better or worse, I will ultimately rely on a “trusted” persons opinion. I could name a handful of people who I’d likely trust on this- and maybe they wouldn’t even want that responsibility of knowing the sway their opinion will likely have. I’ll admit I wasn’t here for the block size wars, but with so many voices out there today with their own incentives and various platform reach, I worry about the risk that can be introduced without understanding it.
100%. Your point about moderation on GH feels accurate. The community should have a place to talk outside of these centralized systems like GH and Google.
