They wanted to do a demo where they pumped exhaust from a TDI into a room with a guy on a treadmill to show how clean the air is. It took a while but someone finally brought up the idea that a German company gassing someone isn't a good look..... True story

….and then they commissioned testing of the emissions on monkeys, that were trained to watch cartoons while having the fumes pumped into the air. Netflix has a really interesting documentary on it called Hard NOx - Dirty Money

I remember the time I had to do it in BSchool 92’ about nestle / bottle water

I argued vehemently that no one would ever pay for bottled water 😂

I’ll have to check that special out.

I don't know if true, but theory is Desert Storm is what made bottled water take off due to all the pics of the troops with them
