I like start9 OS. You get everything you need for self sovereign bitcoining and also many other useful services for becoming self-sovereign with your data.

How sovereign/ safe is it to buy hardware from a company? This is an honest question. From the little I know, I think I like start 9 because it seems like I can take all my data away from third parties and control it myself.
Start9s pre builts i dont onow a ton about but they source open source as much as possible. They have a really great telegram group for asking any questions if they dont chime into this note.
But...the great part about nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll is you can flash the OS onto your own computer you build or a used machine for free ( OS is free on github). Myself i flashed the OS onto an old lenovo thinkcentre mini and am now running btc core, electrum, lightning, and many other self hosted services for controlling my data and use of the internet 🤙🤙 just make sure to donate some sats their way if possible if you go the DIY route.
This is what I did. Flashed an old second hand computer (£150 when I purchased it) when I decided to upgrade.
Currently running the same nodes and a nostr cleint.
If a 48 Yr old with basic tech skill can do it so can anyone 👍🏻
