My parents died in my late teens.

My fondest memories today have nothing to do with what they did or didn't buy me.

I have this one memory with my father, about 12 years old, where we were laughing together so hard that we cried. We liked to come up with stupid business ideas and that one sticks with me.

For me it's either him and I driving on delivery runs, or working in the shop. We did something similar. He always said he "hated" running the bakery and wanted something more so we used to come up with business ideas that would be more fulfilling when he was able to sell it and retire.
