I have a bunch of other Ridgid tools do I got this one. 6 batteries now, so I can go for awhile. I think battery tools are going to take off.

Yup. I’m pretty impressed with the m12 platform from Milwaukee with smaller power tools. But I have seen battery operated concrete saws and roto hammers that work awesome and get the job done.
Unfortunately they’re gonna have to. California has banned small engines (lawn mowers, concrete saws, chainsaws, etc) so we’re seeing a lot of movement to batteries. I think had this ban not occurred I think we would see the market force better batteries before the battery stuff really took over the Outdoor Power market. Being a user of a battery chainsaw myself, the runtime is still the weak point, and my primary saw is still gas.
Yay. California is aWeSoMe!
Yeah when I’m running mine it’s usually for several hours at a time and no reasonable place to recharge it - so fuel is my best option.
Don't wait worry, soon they will have to be solar powered.
Yeup, won’t have to worry about local sound ordinances anymore, your shit won’t work if the sun ain’t out lol
