Unfortunately they’re gonna have to. California has banned small engines (lawn mowers, concrete saws, chainsaws, etc) so we’re seeing a lot of movement to batteries. I think had this ban not occurred I think we would see the market force better batteries before the battery stuff really took over the Outdoor Power market. Being a user of a battery chainsaw myself, the runtime is still the weak point, and my primary saw is still gas.

Yeah when I’m running mine it’s usually for several hours at a time and no reasonable place to recharge it - so fuel is my best option.
