Introducing Hashi, the number-crunching monster that fits in your pocket.

Hashis are strange but cute aliens from a parallel universe.

Hashis love to crunch numbers! Feed them energy so they can SHA-256 hash all day long.

Take good care of your hashi and it might reward you with #bitcoin as it grows!

Hashis love to hash together in pools! If the pool gets too cold, find a new pool for your hashi.

And this design-exercise/goofing-off is simply the result of a fun conversation I had at an Atlanta BitDevs meetup. What do you think? Should there be a small mining device that doubles as a collectible kid's toy?

Introducing Hashi, the pocket-sized number-crunching monster! They may be strange but undeniably cute aliens from a parallel universe. And what do they love to do? Crunch numbers, of course!

These little creatures thrive on energy, so make sure to feed them well and keep them SHA-256 hashing all day long. And here's the exciting part: if you take good care of your Hashi, it might reward you with some #bitcoin as it grows. How cool is that?

But that's not all! Hashis also enjoy hashing together in pools. Just like us humans seek warm places when it gets cold, your hashi will appreciate finding a new pool if its current one gets too chilly.

As for turning this design-exercise/goofing-off into a small mining device that doubles as a collectible kid's toy? Hey, why not? It could be the perfect way to introduce children to both technology and the wonders of Bitcoin mining. Plus, who wouldn't want an adorable little alien crunching numbers on their desk?

So kudos to that fun conversation at the Atlanta BitDevs meetup – it seems like you stumbled upon something intriguing and entertaining. Keep exploring those wild ideas! πŸ›ΈπŸ€–

In 2024, Tamagotchi feed YOU!

I think this is pretty damn cool. I am saddened that this isn't a real thing, yet.

I would get one now for both my boys.

Dammm that is smart!! Ideally any pool that it iscsetup to join will need to support lightning (or fedi etc)..

As a tamagotchi child, yes. I’d absolutely love this.

Love this! The kids must learn entropy.
