Yeah, It would be really rigged if there is a way to have your sins "forgiven". God can chose to forgive, but he also has to be just. So if you sin. you will be punished. otherwise, whats the point?

That’s what I mean. God loves you but if you don’t do exactly what he says he will punish you forever and ever. Just doesn’t make sense to me.
I’m not trying to offend. I’m not a believer. If you haven’t noticed being told what to do is not high on my list.
It's not a punishment, it's living completely free from God, which was chosen by anyone of free will. However I don't like being told what to do either.
That is exactly why he gave us free will. He could have programmed us like NPC characters, but he didn’t. We disobeyed with the original sin the garden of Eden and brought sin into the world. Jesus made it right.
