This is what is being presented (today) as ‘state of the art’ at the identity conferences.
From what I have learned what I can do with #nostr, this is unnecessarily complicated because they are not using a cryptographic protocol at its core (like nostr).
Plus there are some very problematic components, namely, the ‘Orchestration’ and ‘Authorization’ components.
You can wipe this complicated architecture cleanly away with signed events with kinds and relays.

What conference are you at?

They keep adding more and more layers wowa
They will think you are crazy if you try to explain this to these folks...
That’s the challenge I have. With what I’ve learned from #nostr , I honestly don’t know how I would conduct myself at these types of conferences. I’ve concluded that one of the key protocols #OAuth2 as a base protocol is the core problem, but the industry is too far along that path for any useful debate.
After my study I had the opportunity to visit the yearly (EU) IdentityNext conference multiple times. The organiser was a sort of a mentor to me, helping with my idea to build a business (which was very hard to do in my early 20s, so eventually I made the choice just to do webdevelopment to buy a house for example haha). The culture seems to be same still.
Maybe I should reconnect to them, knowing that I learned a lot more about the stuff we’re doing here for example. They will get to know Nostr, eventually..
We just have to build and show a better alternative.
What they are building this for, is a world that already entirely is constructed out of (analoge)signatures. All you need to reconstruct it digitally, is digital signatures.
Maybe we can petition our King to get a Nostr keypair and reinitiate the country by signing a new consitution; to front run this proposed clusterfuck.
