This is another important point.
Every so-called bitcoin KYC establishment we talked to see absolutely nothing wrong with it. I fact, they go out of their way defending their decision. This is especially true for Strike, Swan, Coincorner and Fold.
Swan, in fact, took the extra step of spamming us with unsolicited requests for clients AFTER we made the KYC complaint to them.
Not one explanation, not one apology, no remorse and no shame.
That's why we fight hard against these establishments.
Your coins from Relai and similar orgs are absolutely KYC’d because they have your bank account and IP address.
99.99% probability is that Relai and similar orgs retain the trade data and, when needed, the gov will force Relai to submit that data.
There is no “light” KYC.
