Listening to an "Audiobook" is not, reading a book.

"Oh, have you read so and so".

"Yes, i listened to it a few weeks ago".

Well you've not read it then, have you. You're not engaging your mind in the same way, not giving it the same level of concentration. Read. A. Book!

Elitist but true

Not that I am motivated to read much lately. Well said though. Well, written

I'm just reading "Stalking the wild pendulum" by Itzhak Bentov atm, a really interesting read🥳.

I miss reading. I used to read loads. Now I scan read shit. Time. Time is a precious commodity that is being stolen from me lately. If I had time to read. My head hurts

scan reading is a super power. bitcoin will give us more time to read. maybe not tomorrow but in a couple months... that's the plan anyway.

It's a curse too

reading this one too from a recommendation from someone on here. so far it's a favorite read this year. the pictures are a blend of "le petit prince" and DIY science experiments.

Yes😂. His art for explaining his theory of consciousness, exceeds that of his doodling😬.

haha, yeah. i love the doodles though. his tone is also light-hearted, not pedantic. definitely written well for today's ADHD adults.

As you say, for such a complex subject matter, he certainly makes it very understandable and accessible to most🙏🏻.

Just as an aside, if you're not already following him, give nostr:nprofile1qqszx0ssu8ywnm9qgxpmap4k6vfxdtlacd69wqgy8gnjfgap63wrhwqpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnwv46z7qg3waehxw309ahx7um5wgh8w6twv5hszyrhwden5te0dehhxarj9ekk7mf0uhfs46 a follow and read some of his papers on Medium, they are absolutely mind blowing🤯🤯.

followed, thanks!

damn, what about Yakbak?
