I eat too much FIAT food in the past days so I decided to do a 72h #fasting. For me it started 2.5 hours ago so if you want feel free to join anytime. No I'm going to sleep, but if you have some questions in the morning I will answer them.

Nice, how often do you do that?

Once a month I try to do one, but at least when I have the feeling "I need it now". In rest I'm eating in IF 18-6 time schedule.

Always 3 days every month?

Yes, that's the plan. In every 3rd month I want 5 days or more to do. I only done 5 days once in the previous year. I can tell you after the 3rd day its pretty easy.

That’s awesome. I am on a similar plan with IF plus longer last every now and then. But I never went longer than 48h

I can't tell after how many fasting periods, but today when I woke up my body already worked differently. No cravings for food, just pure calmness. I think after your mind deeply understands that this is really good for your body then it starts to help you during these fasting periods. I even heard about people who made way way longer periods of fastings. Not weeks, but months (that's totally mind driven).

And some have fasted for 382 days (Angus Barbieri)

Fasting is an interesting pratice, I did one time a week for 36h for some times, then settled on the 72h "when I feel I need it".

Rember to eat a lot of water and over the 24h you should be need to add some integrators (never did that, a friend alerted me about that and I still have to check which ones and if something natural, ex. salt, can be used).

And for the newcomers: feel your body/mind and don't overdo it 👍

First I was drinking salted (only pure Na-Cl) water (from self-made distilled water), but nowadays I feel my body reaction. Only if my muscles are cramping I drink some salted water. I always tell people to start first with daily IF eating (16-8 or 18-6) then you can test your body with 24h fasting and so on.

There really is no need to "drink a lot of water". You're going to deplete electrolytes with urination and if you're not replenishing them d/t not eating, you're just going to make yourself feel worse.
