What is going on here? 😂
He is (serious answer)
The answer is yes. Happiness for Sisyphus is derived from pushing his boulder, Therefore where he pushes it is irrelevant, Just that he feels he is accomplishing something by pushing it is how we can measure his happiness. So the answer is yes, As far as the outside observer can tell, He is happy. The actual happiness is impossible to tell, Because “happy” emotions are a combination of health and emotional positivity, Which has external emotional implications as well as dietary scientific factors that are unknown variables. We can only gauge his happiness by outside observation and if he is pushing and he seems motivated, We must assume he has the important factors keeping him pushing.
You have to divert him, because while the ship is the ship even if its not the ship it will not consume the boulder, where as, the inifite hotel can simply move each person in every other room to the next odd room infinite times thus providing enough room to consume poor sisyphus's boulder thus depriving him of purpose and his happiness.
