You cannot both hold the belief that Bitcoin will bring back this type of beautiful craftsmanship and also think this person spent his money on suit and cordovan shoes because he is fiat.

It's such a good look 🥰🫦😍
From my point of view, it has more to do with culture.
One emergent culture embraces fancy folds and knots in the clothes (suits), and other emergent cultures embrace special things worn on heads, while others focus primarily on practical comfort and/or durability. There are countless other such cultural idiosyncrasies toward fashion around the world and throughout history.
It is not my culture to wear a business suit, and it is not my culture to have a tight collar around my neck attached to a leash (AKA a necktie). But it is easy for me to accept the culturally driven personal preferences of each individual, especially when they reciprocate in this respect.
Because these people know as well as me that it does not make me, or anyone, a better OR WORSE bitcoiner (or human, for that matter).
BUT! Wearing sweatpants to a meeting? C'mon! You won't catch me doing THAT either! You'll find me somewhere in the middle of these two extremes.
