Has a very classic nautical feel, with the Roman numerals and of course the coloring of the strap, and moon phase. Reminds me of a lot of Ulysse Nardin marine line.
It’s called an officers case, which refers to when pocket watches were fitted with lugs so that officers in the field could wear their pocket watch on their wrist
It has a clamshell rear opening that showcases the movement on the backside
As a master watchmaker I have cleaned and oiled several of the Patek Philippe 5159G's and its nice to see one in white 18k gold.
Fantastic movements with a fit and finish second to none except maybe Audemars Piguet and Parmagiani.
I've owned many high grades but sold them to buy bitcoin. Now I wear an old Seiko.

I service six watches at a time and often there is a half million dollars of them in pieces on my bench. 🤑
I pivoted my event, photography to product photography over Covid and became a watch dealer after scoring a few successful hauls from estate sales.
I remember printing discounted third-party FedEx labels to ensure 10 to 20 Watches at a time when I shipped them to my Watchmaker in Colorado.
He used to charge 60 bucks to clean and reassemble a movement, or a few hundred if it’s more complicated than time and date.
When we did video calls, I was amazed at his workbench 🤯

It’s a gorgeous watch. Just not for me. I can’t stand white dial anything. In fact there were several cars I wanted but would not buy because their dashboards had white dials. It’s a me problem.

MB&F is definitely on a completely different level of engineering than most other watch companies.
It seems that each model they put out solves a little engineering challenge, not just adding another complication.
