Free speech comes with as much good as it does bad.

You get as much truth as you do falsity, as much purity as you do horror, but it shifts the burden of verification and filtering to the individual rather then the collective or platform.

It’s not that free speech is all good and nothing bad comes from it, it’s just that censorship is far worse.

Those who are against free speech focus on the bad aspects and don’t understand how much worse censorship is, probably because they’ve always been on the side of the majority and never experienced it.
