You don’t need to agree with all speech, you may even be passionately against it, but the free market of ideas will judge them and the best ideas float to the top.
Banning any speech gives validity to bad ideas, and actually helps those ideas spread.

I am not anti-free speech at face value. I am anti free speech for some people. For example, allowing communists to have free speech and use their speech to quell the speech of others makes me hate the concept of free speech for all. Free speech as an idea only works in a homogenous society where ideas can actually be considered, and you won't get banned for saying something that harm's a company's advertiser revenue.
I was all for free speech until faggots, pedophiles and jews (I repeat myself) used their power to take away my rights.

Free speech comes with as much good as it does bad.
You get as much truth as you do falsity, as much purity as you do horror, but it shifts the burden of verification and filtering to the individual rather then the collective or platform.
It’s not that free speech is all good and nothing bad comes from it, it’s just that censorship is far worse.
Those who are against free speech focus on the bad aspects and don’t understand how much worse censorship is, probably because they’ve always been on the side of the majority and never experienced it.

Governments / military shouldn’t be able to lie to its citizens - answers should be facts or no comment. This can’t be controlled but outright lying by a government to its people would be what I’d squash if it were even possible.
