I was around Tempe in the mid 90s working for a research lab not intel, but hung out with intel fab engineers. The culture was competitive and pure!
They knew they were not a monopoly back the and could loose it fast!
Noyse, Moore, Groves and many of the Fairchildren were bold and caste from a different mold than modern leaders. Wall Street did that company no favors.
