I'm pretty confident without our service she would currently be in/out of prison, prob costing millions.
It's very hard to quantify outcomes in those sorts of services I worked in, which is why they are often in the crosshairs when cuts are made. I imagine with all the support she had, it prob cost close to 100k to fix her.
For sure man. And its certainly more worthwhile throwing the money at a service like that than a war. I think one the the biggest issues is scalability. So people like you who have a talent at bringing out the best often can't scale cos its a human issue. Trust takes time and gestures that give confidence.
Interestingly with AI there may be a chance that some good social workers/educators mentality could be bottled and distributed. Wouldn't likely work as well but it would get the stats. Interested in your thoughts
