Are the legacy users (with custodial NWC wallet) going to have to migrate to Alby Hub? and if yes, is there a deadline?

Feels like 8 months ago, it was all easy and now it is like a quite advanced techie setup and come with additional monthly costs, like Alby is now targeting a different type of clientele
Maybe the free service that was available before wasn’t sustainable long term for them. They had to change their business model to survive 🤷🏾♂️
Maybe, my guess is that a lot of confusion is going to happen early 2025 for all the legacy Alby users, I went into the newletter they sent and the hub is presented as a better offering, leaving the impression that the NWC custodial wallet will still be there ...
Luckily there are other options available
We work hard on making it as easy as possible for users and we think the tech is right to manage to do this now.
People should own their own keys, and should own their own money.
It comes with great power but it will be a bit harder than relying on others.
But people will have to move.
And we also think with NWC as a spec now users will also have the possibility to choose the service that they like best.

I only use alby on NOSTR....Does this mean I can't send/receive zaps unless I migrate?
I asked Alby, did not receive an answer yet
but they seem to plan a migration of the custodial legacy wallet , maybe early 2025
Sorry for not answering earlier. Right the future of Alby is Aby Hub but there will be a very easy to use solution for first-time Nostr users, too.
