Welcome to freedom(ish).

I ran Mint on an old MacBook Air for a while. Worked well.

Does it work week?

I have an M1 and have been toying with the idea of putting Asahi on it.

How do you like it?

My MacBook Pro 2010 is running Ubuntu but it’s becoming choppy…

It’s new architecture with the M-series chips, so they had to reverse engineer everything to get this to work. Pretty impressive. The whole installation experience and performance is smooth. The only downside is that there’s some apps that don’t support ARM.

thats pretty epic
