I regret getting a google pixel phone even with grapheneOS . Next one will be a Samsung again. Just like when I regretted getting a one plus 2 and an LG.

I do most bitcoin and sensitive info stuff on my Linux of anyway.

Need a reliable smartphone and only Samsung has ever proven itself to me.

The vast majority of users have a great experience without hardware or software stability issues. There are a small portion of devices with hardware failures but based on the publicly available data it isn't higher than OEMs like Samsung. It's normal for 1-2% of devices to have hardware failures which can be hard to diagnose as hardware issues which isn't specific to Pixels and isn't avoided by iPhones.

I use it daily and have no problems. Granted a lot of apps need GP but I avoid all them

lots of lag and crashing for me, just started a couple months ago

If I could avoid GP completely then I'd just use Lineage OS on a cheapndevice and save money lol

Strange.

I have found GrapheneOS to be much better than any previous version of Android I have used in the past.

I'm still using a Pixel 6a.

I use Obtainium for most apps, Aurora for a few Play Store apps, then a separate user for a few Google apps that I need top use occasionally.
