The vast majority of users have a great experience without hardware or software stability issues. There are a small portion of devices with hardware failures but based on the publicly available data it isn't higher than OEMs like Samsung. It's normal for 1-2% of devices to have hardware failures which can be hard to diagnose as hardware issues which isn't specific to Pixels and isn't avoided by iPhones.
I regret getting a google pixel phone even with grapheneOS . Next one will be a Samsung again. Just like when I regretted getting a one plus 2 and an LG.
I do most bitcoin and sensitive info stuff on my Linux of anyway.
Need a reliable smartphone and only Samsung has ever proven itself to me.

ive owned several samsung phones over the years and never had issues like this.
lag, crashing, poor battery performance, just started 2 months ago after a year.
Uninstalled all rarely used apps. Issues persist.
Disappointed.
What generation Pixel? I have a Pixel 8 running GrapheneOS beta branch and have none of these issues. My credit unions app and apps for my credit cards all work perfectly as well, even without Google Apps installed. Maybe try a factory reset and fresh install.
Pixel 8 pro
Strange. I've got no issues like these with the base Pixel 8. I may pick up a Pixel 9 Pro soon, or I may not. I'm undecided. The 8 is working perfectly fine but after paying my device off through Spectrum and porting my line out, they're now trying to lure me back in with a year of free service if I add another line. So I'm considering taking advantage of that just to to score a new device.
