Bitcoin donations are intended for the students and staff of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) who are affected by the regime’s repression, and who have stood together in resistance for over six months — maintaining a faculty blockade as an act of protest and solidarity. It all began on November 22, 2024, when students were physically attacked, sparking a wave of protests and demands for justice, transparency, and protection of university autonomy. Instead of addressing these demands, the regime has responded with pressure, intimidation, and withdrawal of resources. Professors and staff — despite not receiving their full salaries for four months — continue to stand side by side with the students in the fight for dignified education and a free society.
