I may still object to the object of love being the money and not what it represents or for whom it is earned. I understand loving some intermediary, but only insofar as it is properly understood as an intermediary and not the ultimate object of said love.

To illustrate, I love food, not as the ultimate object of love as if I were to serve it but insofar as it brings pleasure and sustenance to me and those whom I love. In this sense I have no objection to what you say.
