I agree, it is evil to prioritize money over reality. Money is only a reflection of value creation, so to love money independently of the value it represents leads to theft & corruption of all kinds.

But an honest problem solver earning sound money should love & appreciate the money he has because it is the symbol of his understanding of God/reality & ability to *create well* & help his neighbor as a result.

I may still object to the object of love being the money and not what it represents or for whom it is earned. I understand loving some intermediary, but only insofar as it is properly understood as an intermediary and not the ultimate object of said love.

To illustrate, I love food, not as the ultimate object of love as if I were to serve it but insofar as it brings pleasure and sustenance to me and those whom I love. In this sense I have no objection to what you say.
