my first car was an old car ... i worked on it a lot with my father and learned a lot from him.
but at the moment it feels like my time is too valuable to work on an old car

I got lucky - leased my car bc my girl wanted to & just so happened to be peak pandemic so it was marked down heavy - the payoff after the lease was over was an incredible discount compared to if I just bought it at first.
One of the only times ever the residuals got fucked up that badly.
